Radiant Cats acknowledges that I am a settler that resides on land referred to as Treaty 6 Territory, which is the traditional and ancestral lands of the Nêhiyaw (Nay-hee-yow), Dene (Deh-neyh), Anishinaabe (Ah-nish-in-ah-bay), Nakota Isga (Na-koh-tah ee-ska), Niitsitapi (Nit-si-tahp-ee), Métis (May-tea), and Inuit peoples. I recognize that amiskwacîwâskahikan, colonially known as Edmonton has been called home by many Indigenous peoples since time immemorial.  I am committed to learning about, honouring, and celebrating Indigenous ways of knowing and their connections to the animals who share this land with us.
